"This album has taken Static Oracle in a new direction."

Static Oracle's third full length album, "In Sin and Misery" is set to be released October 1st, 2015.

Nine months in the making, the album contains 13 tracks (including a hidden track) inspired by various personal events. The album also takes inspiration from exploitation films of the 1970s and industrial and alternative albums of the late 1980s and early 1990s, while maintaining the unique style of previous albums.

Each track has a story behind it relating to the many life changing events that took place during the past nine months.

This album will also be different than the previous two in that many tracks merge into one another. Most of the vocalization on the album is sampled from old grindhouse trailers, with many of the effects coming straight from old projectors and films.

The title itself is taken from the classic folk song "House of the Rising Sun"

Artwork for the album contains various scenes of the Las Vegas wash system. It was shot in mid September of 2015 by Jonathan Milano.

A digital download will be available for purchase that will include a PDF art booklet, as well as a PDF poster of the album cover and artwork from the album.

You can purchase "In Sin and Misery" through Bandcamp on October 1st.
